OUR APPROACH
Theraphil
Theraphil is a pursuit of promoting physical and mental well-being through the medium of therapy, care, and love. Our evidence-based interventions help people of all ages who have physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities to achieve independence in all walks of life. We implement a holistic approach that enables people to participate in their everyday occupations like self-care activities, productive activities, and leisure/social activities.
At Theraphil, we believe that families may have different sets of goals and expectations. However, every parent knows their child the best. We identify your child’s strengths as well as the challenges and work with you in empowering him/her to achieve their true potential. It aids their academic performance, sports, daily activities, etc., reviving their self-esteem. For us, there is nothing more rewarding than the smile on the children’s faces that light up from a sense of accomplishment. Our therapy sessions are family-centred devised to benefit children, adolescents, adults, senior citizens, and their families.
ABOUT
Ms. Purvi Gandhi
Occupational Therapist & Intervention Coach)
B.Sc. (O.T.), SIPT Certified
As an occupational therapist, I believe that meaningful activity not only promotes health, but helps us get through the vulnerability of any limitations. My hope for you is to have resilience and maintain your identity and sense of worthiness through life transitions and difficult times.
It is always a privilege and an honour to walk beside someone for a short while on their path, to witness them take their story back in their hands and know that their health condition doesn’t dictate their identity.
When you are struggling with well-being and doing the things that are important to you, I can help you develop practical methods that fit your unique life. My goal is for you to be able to easily apply the methods that work best for you in any given situation so you can overcome any inhibitions and start doing more of what sustains you and lights you up!
“It all starts with giving yourself permission. Permission to ask for help. Permission to not know all the answers. Permission to show up. Permission to make mistakes. Permission to shine.”
